Yes. It's Back.
Time for another Essay about Brian.
Expect another tomorrow.
Why Brian's Death was a good thing
Brian's death is not a bad thing. Why? Several reasons;
It was natural selection, "survival of the fittest".
OR
It was his choice, making it a suicide.
And it also serves as a reminder of the dangers of alcohol.
First up, Natural selection. Brian's death was (if not deliberate) caused by stupidity, ignorance and bad genes (weak liver and compulsion control).
Since weak genes lead to a weak species, its fair to say his death was good due to the fact that he won't be able to pass on weak genes and the human race will strengthened from the loss of these bad genetics.
Secondly, if his death was by choice, it was a suicide.
How is this good? Well it was Brian's life to do with what he willed, and if he wished to, the choice of cutting his life short was his.
Now the reasons for him committing suicide are unknown, so this is all speculation but; New Zealand has one of the highest teen suicide rates in the world, and a high depression rate. Now these statistics seem to go hand in hand, but whether depression lead to his suicide, is impossible to say (at this point in time).
All we can say is that his choice of self harm seemed to be that famous Russian poison.
Finally, whether this death was caused by stupidity, bad genes or was just a teens cry for help is irrelevant, what this death really is, is a reminder of the dangers of alcohol. Seeing the effects of drinking in excess splattered across the nations media educates the public about the dangers of alcoholism. Undoubtedly, several people will take heed of this warning and re-access their thoughts and actions which are related to alcohol. Thus Brian is rendered a useful martyr.
In conclusion, Brian's death is a good thing. It's filtered our gene pool and/or fulfilled his wishes of suicide and provided us with a splendid martyr.
Thus Brian's death is a worth while in several ways.
